How to change the site title in the email footer#

When you use the Send Email action with WooCommerce Template selected, ShopMagic uses WooCommerce's email footer.

The WooCommerce placeholder {site_title} represents the title configured in Settings → General → Site Title. You can change that title for the entire website or enter different text specifically for the email footer.

Change the website title#

1. Go to Settings → General in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Update Site Title.
3. Click Save Changes.

Keep {site_title} in the WooCommerce footer if you want it to use this title automatically. Changing Site Title also affects other places where your website displays its name.

Change only the email footer#

1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Emails.
2. Find Footer text in the Email template settings.
3. Replace {site_title} with the name or footer text you want recipients to see. You can also keep the placeholder and edit the surrounding text.
4. Click Save changes.

This shared setting affects WooCommerce emails and ShopMagic emails using the WooCommerce template. It does not change your WordPress Site Title.

Send a new test email from your ShopMagic action to check the result. Previously delivered emails will remain unchanged.

What if the email displays the literal {site_title} text?#

In ShopMagic 4.9.3, the WooCommerce template passes footer placeholders to WooCommerce for replacement. If the recipient still sees the literal {site_title} text, check that you are using Send Email → Template → WooCommerce Template and review any custom email templates or email customization plugins.

The None template, Send Email - Plain Text, and Send Email - Raw HTML do not automatically include the WooCommerce footer. Edit their message content directly. To insert your website title into a ShopMagic message, use the ShopMagic placeholder {{ shop.title }}.
