A new version of our plugin has just been released. What’s inside? Highly anticipated new placeholders, filter and changes to existing filters. Let’s take a quick look at ShopMagic 2.25.
New placeholders
ShopMagic has several dozens of placeholders. Which is quite a lot. However, there are always some areas of improvements in which we can add something to extend our plugin possibilities. That’s why, we prepared 5 new placeholders available for everyone – you will find them in free plugin version. Here’s the quick list:
- {{ shop.title }} which displays shop title,
- {{ shop.url }} displays URL address of your website,
- {{ shop.tagline }} shows WordPress tagline,
- {{ order.payment_method }} add it to the automation to display selected payment method,
- {{ order.shipping_method }} when added to the automation it will show selected shipping method.
New filter – Is it Customer’s First order?
How does it work? Add it to the automation to be sure that it will trigger for the first customer’s order only. It’s a perfect filter to create a welcome email for your customers.
You can also use it reversely, to create an automation which will trigger if it’s not the customer’s first order.
Order – Is Customer’s first filter joins more than 30 filters available in Advanced Filters add-on and is available for every PRO subscriber, right now! Use it as a single filter or combine with other filters.
The only requirement is to update Advanced Filters add-on to the newest version.
Support for product images in {{ cart.items }}
We heard your voice. From now on, you will be able to show your products in abandoned cart emails. Chances are, that it will increase your conversion rate even more.
Choose from bullet list, comma separated list or grid (with 2 or 3 columns). All of this available for free for all our ShopMagic Abandoned Cart user.
Start here improvements
Finally, we reworked Start here page, which you will find in the ShopMagic’s menu, in your WordPress dashboard.
From now on, every piece of information which you will find there is (and will be!) correct and accurate. Not to mention, the updated video guide which you may find helpful while creating your first automation.
See you next time!
