Actions usage guide#

Actions are the core feature of ShopMagic and a part of each automation. An action defines what will happen when an event (trigger) occurs after the chosen filters are applied.

By default, an action is the second thing that you will configure in your automation after setting the event.

The most common action is sending a regular email, but there are several actions available - starting with sending emails in different formats, sending contacts to Mailchimp, and ending with changing your customers' subscription status.

Please keep in mind that any kind of message (email or SMS) can be sent to both your customers and yourself/your store staff.

You may find the list of ShopMagic actions here.
